The content on Provet.co.uk is owned by Provet Limited and others, and is protected by copyright, trade marks, and other intellectual property rights. It is easy to copy things in cyberspace, but this is not acceptable or legal. You must not copy, modify, distribute, show in public or create any derivative work from any of the content you find on Provet.co.uk , unless you have a right to do so. Doing so can lead to breach of the criminal law. Furthermore, content owners may initiate criminal or civil action against you. In that event, you will be required to indemnify Provet Limited and others against liabilities which may result.

You agree only to make authorised, legal uploads and downloads of content through Provet.co.uk, whether the content is software, music, video, graphics, text or anything else. All the content you transmit must either be your own or you must be expressly authorised to distribute it on Provet.co.uk.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The website Provet.co.uk is intended for use by people with a genuine interest in animal health matters. All Users of the site must agree to the following terms and conditions :

Online Conduct and Content

By conduct, we mean your behaviour on-line whilst uploading or downloading information (in text, graphical or other formats) This medium allows individuals to create their own content and voice their opinions; Provet.co.uk Users are encouraged to do so. But you must abide by certain rules and standards as a Provet.co.uk User.

In essence, you must ensure that you only use Provet.co.uk for lawful purposes and in a manner which does not in our reasonable opinion infringe the rights of any person or entity, or restrict anyone's enjoyment of Provet.co.uk or the Internet. As a Provet.co.uk User, you agree to adhere to these principles - which are more fully described in Provet's Community Guidelines -and you acknowledge that Provet Limited has the right to enforce them in its sole discretion. If you, or anyone using your registered details breach these guidelines.

You may have access to services provided by Provet Limited and its affiliates which are available both to Provet.co.uk Users and other Internet users. When using these other Provet-branded services your conduct remains subject to this Agreement.. Provet's Community Guidelines may change from time to time. We will try to notify you in advance of significant changes to them.

By content, we mean the information, software, communications, images and sounds provided by Provet.co.uk online. The content available through Provet is provided by Provet Limited. and its affiliates, our Users (registered or non-registered), independent content providers and other third parties. In general, Provet Limited does not pre-screen private content available through Provet.co.uk, but does reserve the right to remove or filter any that does not meet its standards or comply with the Provet Community Guidelines.

We are not responsible for content that is provided by others or for any failure or delay in removing it from Provet.co.uk. Users of the site must take responsibility for managing their own online experience, and others who may use their right whilst they have logged on to the service. This is especially important where children are using Provet.co.uk; they are safer online - and get more out of the experience - with adult supervision. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness and value of content, goods and services offered by third parties through Provet.co.uk or the Internet; Provet Limited will not be party to any transaction concerning such content, goods or services. Commercial activity

You may not use access to Provet.co.uk for commercial reasons, to send unsolicited bulk email (or "junk email") or other commercial activities such as to express commercial views or canvass for commercial sales opportunities Further, you may not use Provet.co.uk to collect information about it's Users, nor use this information for junk email purposes. If you have received junk email and want to report it, simply use the "Forward" button on your email screen and send it to feedback@provet.co.uk.

Indemnification

Upon request by Provet Limited, you agree to indemnify Provet Limited and its affiliates, their employees, contractors, officers, directors, telecommunications providers and content providers from all liabilities, claims and expenses that arise from any breach of this Users Agreement, use of Provet.co.uk or the Internet, or the transmission of any content on Provet.co.uk by you. Provet Limited reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any claim which is subject to indemnification by you under this Users Agreement, in which event you will (from that time onwards) have no further obligation to provide indemnification for that claim.

Complaints

Provet endeavours to deal with all complaints as fairly, quickly and efficiently as possible. If you have a complaint send an email immediately to feedback@provet.co.uk and it will be dealt with in complete confidentiality. We aim to acknowledge your complaint and deal with it to your satisfaction within 5 working days.

In the unlikely situation that we are unable to resolve the complaint to your satisfaction the dispute will be decided by Arbitration as defined under English Law by the Arbitration Act 1996

Cancellation Policy

Orders to purchase goods from Provet may be cancelled prior to dispatch of the goods, or within 7 days of receipt of the goods providing they are returned to Provet in an undamaged condition. Monies paid by the customer will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods to Provet.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Provet.co.uk we are determined to protect your privacy. Information that we collect from you is used to enable us to process orders and provide you with more personalized information and education. It also helps us to avoid sending you information that you are not interested in receiving.

What do we do with the information that we collect?

  • When you order from Provet's On-line Store we need to know your name, delivery address and e-mail address so that we can process and arrange delivery of the product and keep you informed of the status of your order.
  • If you are paying on-line with a credit card we also need your credit or debit card number and expiry date. For some cards (eg switch) we need your card issue number as well. If you pay on-line this information is held on a secure server using sophisticated encryption for your protection. The service that Provet uses is run by Worldpay Limited a global leader in e-commerce solutions.
  • Your contact telephone number is also helpful in case we have to contact you urgently about your order. This number is sometimes required by courier services making overseas deliveries.
  • When you enter a contest or submit items such as text or images to www.provet.co.uk we will ask for your name, address and e-mail address so that we can contact you about the results of the competition, or if there are problems.
  • If you complete a personal profile about yourself we will endeavour to keep you informed of developments in the subject areas that you have indicated.
