The Dangerous Dogs Act 1989, 1991 and Amendment 1997


Description

These Acts are primarily concerned with the control of all dangerous dogs, especially breeds defined as dangerous because they are bred for fighting (e.g. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa) that are illegal to own in the UK . Under this legislation dogs can be destroyed.
