Cat and Dog pet food worldwide sales exceeded $65.8 billion during 2010

The latest figures confirm that Cat and Dog food is really BIG business, with total sales of prepared pet foods worldwide worth US$65.8 billion and registered 3.9% growth over 2010. Currently it is forecast to reach US$95.7 billion in 2017.

These figures do not include the cost of snacks, treats, human foods and home-made rations which are also fed to many pets throughout the world.
