Infectious and non-infectious perishable biological substances in the overseas post

The Perishable Biological Substances service is operated in accordance with regulations as set out by the International Air Transport Association (JATA) and the Universal Postal Union (UPU). It provides for separate services for infectious and non4nfectious perishable biological substances. Postal packets containing infectious perishable biological substances will be subject to a special fee, in addition to normal postage and registration charges, to cover the special handling now required.
