CRV infection is probably most significant in young puppies where it may cause diarrhoea between 1 and 6 days post-infection.
- Watery diarrhoea is the predominant clinical feature.
- Depression, lethargy and inappetance.
- Vomiting, haemorrhagic diarrhoea, pyrexia and leucopenia are not generally features of CRV infection.
- Spontaneous recovery will usually occur within 7 days if supportive treatment is given.
