A large number of other congenital abnormalities have been reported including pulmonary atresia, cor trioculare biatrium (single ventricle with two atria or 'Frog heart'), truncus arteriosus (single large artery comprising of the fused PA and aorta), coarctation of the aorta (narrowing of the aorta, usually early in the descending portion), LV hypoplasia and double-outlet RV. Often the definition and terminology of some of the more complex lesions reported is not clear in papers describing these lesions. Complex lesions almost invariably carry a grave prognosis for life.
