Projects - Veterinary Practice


Below are listed some PLLP Projects for you to complete if you work in a veterinary practice. Each project report submitted will count as 10 Continuing Education points towards your lifetime learning annual target of 90 points, for the Year in which you submit it.

Select ONE or MORE of the following projects and write a short summary report of your findings. Then submit your report by email in .doc or .html format to the organiser.. Each report received will count as 10 Continuing Education points towards your annual target of 90 PLLP points, and Provet will send you an appraisal of your Entry. The best entries will be judged and you may win an Award !

Project 1 - Anti-inflammatory Drugs - This project will involve you in reviewing the anti-inflammatory drugs that you stock in your practice and writing a brief report. CLICK HERE

Project 2 - Antibiotic Drugs - This project will involve you in reviewing the antibiotic drugs that you stock in your practice and writing a brief report. CLICK HERE

Project 3 - Worming Protocols - This Project will involve you in reviewing and comparing the worming preparations that you stock in your practice and writing a brief report. CLICK HERE

Project 4 - Flea control - This Project will involve you in reviewing and comparing the methods used to control fleas recommended by your practice and writing a brief report. CLICK HERE

Project 5 - Local Health Hazards - This Project will involve you in reviewing local health hazards and writing a brief report with recommendations as to what measures can be taken to reduce the risks. CLICK HERE

Project 6 - Screening Apparently Healthy Patients - This Project will involve you in reviewing the need for screening apparently healthy patients and writing a brief report. CLICK HERE
